This is not a remark on its readability or how much I enjoyed it - stuff just kept getting in the way. This book took forever to read. Coming back from the dead can be rough. Mythology Entertainment has acquired feature rights to Richard Morgan's 2002 post-cyberpunk sci-fi novel 'Altered Carbon'. Altered carbon is a science fiction book that takes place years in the future. Publisher: Random House Publishing Group Page: 544. A little surprised by the graphic sex scene. Fans of military intrigue, hardboiled detective stories and Sci-fi will be hard pressed to find a better read than Richard K Morgan's Altered Carbon. It is well written, exciting and realistic. It may soon be made into a feature film according to Wikipedia. Some thoughts I had moving through this book: Pretty sure I have the motive figured out. The new catalyst is based on carbon nanotubes altered or “doped” with nitrogen, which the team has labelled N-Fe-CNT/CNP (CNT for carbon nanotube and CNP for carbon nanoparticle).
